The “Palmetto III” package offers a premiere outdoor
adventure for any sportsman. It consist of a Spring turkey hunt, Fall deer
hunt, and a Fall inshore fishing trip. This package has been a work in
progress since the late 1990’s and 2008 will be its inaugural year. The
package starts off with a Spring hunt for the Eastern Wild Turkey. Each
season over the past decade, I have chased gobblers all around our property.
Each hunt added more knowledge. However, two of the most important lessons I
learned that should increase your success are: Hunt early in the season &
during the morning. These two factors year after year prove true. The second
part of the package will occur in one weekend during the Fall. You and a
guest will have the opportunity to fish the inshore waters of Beaufort, SC.
We’ll spend most of the day searching for redfish, speckled trout and
flounder. Just as I mentioned about turkey hunting, a huge part of my life
has been dedicated to chasing these fish. Some days I have been so
frustrated I wanted to sell my boat, but I kept after it. Now I have plenty
of confidence that we’ll do just fine. The following day your package will
conclude with a morning deer hunt. There is no question that the best time
of the season to hunt is during the rut. Our rut normally runs from the
first of October until Thanksgiving. I hope we are successful in each of the
“Palmetto III” adventures, but more importantly I hope you enjoy your time
